Saddle Brook, N.J. (May 5, 2005) - Designed for your most sensitive small parcel shipping applications, Sealed Air Corporation introduces TuffGard Extreme™ cushioned mailers - an attractive, economic, secure alternative to cartons.

Ideal for packaging a variety of items including books, cell phones, cosmetics, DVDs, electronic components, frames, jewelry, plaques, sporting goods, toiletries and video games, TuffGard Extreme™ mailers combine the protection of 5/16-inch Bubble Wrap® brand cushioning with a strong coextruded film. Utilizing Sealed Air’s patented Barrier Bubble® technology and a multi-layer film that is moisture-, puncture- and tear-resistant, the fully laminated construction of the mailer increases bursting strength and overall package integrity.

TuffGard Extreme™ mailers are lightweight which allow customers to lower shipping costs by eliminating the use of cartons. And since Bubble Wrap® brand cushioning provides superior protection for most products, additional interior packaging material is not required further reducing material costs.

The TuffGard Extreme™ mailers, with a fine, textured surface, can be printed with up to eight colors. The highly tamper resistant, self-seal closure increases the security of items contained inside.

TuffGard Extreme™ mailers are available in five sizes ranging from 7 1/4-inches by 12-inches to 14 1/4-inches by 20-inches.
