Newest Inflatable System Is the Next Generation in Void Fill Packaging

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. (March 15, 2004) - Sealed Air Corporation introduces the Fill-Air Elite™ inflatable packaging system which is the next generation for cost-effective void fill solutions. The compact and versatile Fill-Air Elite™ packaging system conveniently fits into single or multiple workstations.

Fill-Air Elite™ cushions can be created on-demand so they are readily available for packagers; or they can be made in advance and stored for future use. The cushions produced by the system are primarily for top void fill, but also can be used for blocking and bracing. In addition, the cushions are clean and create a more attractive package as compared to traditional void fill materials.

The Fill-Air Elite™ packaging system eliminates the need for bulky equipment and overhead bins, which enables warehouse space to be used for stocking inventory. The system is equipped with various accessories that include a photo eye, foot pedal and delivery systems that guarantee a supply of cushions for any dunnage application.

Minimal training and an easy-to-use system make the Fill-Air Elite™ system a valuable asset to a company’s packaging and fulfillment operation. To change the roll, the operator simply slides off the empty roll, replaces it with a new roll, feeds the edge of the film into the system, pushes the feed switch and begins the inflation process.

The Fill-Air Elite™ system is entirely electric, requiring only a standard 110-volt outlet, and does not require the use of shop air. The system is available in roll widths of 8 inches, 10 inches and 12 inches, and lengths of 5 inches, 8 inches and 12 inches - the widest selection of roll widths and lengths available.
