Cryovac® barrier films join forces with the Tipper Tie® HS3AB automatic heat sealing machine to form the wave of the future - barrier casings formed in-line from rollstock film. Immediately, processors will realize increased productivity, reduced costs and added food safety benefits.
- Cost effective: Uses one-quarter of the inventory storage space of shirred casings and requires fewer roll changeovers resulting in less material waste at thread-up
- Food safety benefits: More continuous production means less operator involvement; most cost-effective means for transition from fibrous casings to barrier plastic casings
- Improves productivity: In-line forming reduces frequency of line shutdowns to reload materials, which results in up to a 33% increase in actual production time
