Systems Integration Team

The Systems Integration team supplies packaging-floor Systems Solutions to our customers that reduce their total cost of packaging by reducing labor, reducing material costs, and/or increasing production capacity. The modules that make up our Systems Solutions are internally referred to as the “tools” in our “toolbox”. These proven tools allow us to build a line with high value, less integration effort, and shorter lead times than our competition due to the up front work to ready them for integration both mechanically and electrically.

Examples of Third-Party equipment might include, but are not limited to: Weigh Scales, Labelers, Printers, Metal Detection Systems, Portioning Systems, Product Pumps, Case Packers, Palletizing Robots, Specialty Conveyors, and Singulation Units. Practically anything that you might find on a packaging floor can become part of a Systems Solution.

The range of a Systems Solution’s scope could be as small as a single discrete piece of equipment called a module. Multiple modules connected together, sometimes using a centralized product flow control system, make up a Line. When a layer of data management is placed on the line, the result is an Integrated System. Finally, if the system communicates with an ERP or MES layer, the system becomes an Enterprise Integration.
